The walnut island and bar cabinet add pop to a classic white kitchen and showcase the hand-crafted, hand-sanded and hand-finished product from QCCI. Adding the custom banquette has transformed the way the family gathers in this space. This kitchen is stacked with functional amenities such a custom knife drawer, appliance garage, bread drawer, plate organizers, pull out waste receptacle, file drawers and food pantry adjacent to the refrigerator. The contemporary island pendant adds a playful twist to the more traditional tile mosaic backsplash.
This is the client’s 2nd project with Teakwood Builders, the first being a basement renovation. Shortly after the completion of the kitchen, the client signed on for a 3rd project, the addition of a back porch entry and mudroom cabinet that would complement the historic home.
