Teakwood “discovered” Brian, who had his own small construction firm, in 2010. He was doing some light construction for client who hired Teakwood for a major project. The client regarded and trusted young Brian so highly, they insisted he be included as part of Team Teak as a subcontractor. His creativity, work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to inspire loyalty with customers fit so well with the Teakwood culture, he became a permanent member of the team in 2012 in the role of carpenter.
As an Adirondack native, Brian has a “work with what you have” flair – because it was often a long way to the nearest hardware store. He even owns his own portable wood mill, the better to rip timbers with, my dear.
