Re-framing History

The largest challenge was removing the existing basement access stair and chimney, located on the back wall. Plenty of time, patience, and brick removal paid off, increasing the usable square footage substantially. It allowed for a new window over the kitchen sink to be installed. Full height upper cabinetry in Matte San Antonio Gray keep things light but historically appropriate.

Re-framing History

Located in the heart of Saratoga Springs, this gorgeous historic home was exactly what this family of three needed. The only problem was the small and cramped kitchen, located at the rear of the home. Closed off from the rest of the house, the homeowners dreamt of opening the space and creating a more welcoming room for the family to gather in.
