Watery Respite

The clients for this bathroom renovation frequently travel the world, staying in 5-star hotels. They were ready to wake up to a master bathroom at home that had the crisp, spa-like lines and the modern luxury of their favorite hotel bathrooms abroad. They were accustomed to multifunctional toilets in Europe and Asia, with heated seats and bidet functions. In order to fit a private water closet in a finite space, Teakwood used frosted glass shower walls and doors. The clients chose large-format tiles – 2 x 4 feet each –  for the shower to minimize grout lines and keep thing sleek and clean. All fixtures are by DXV.
