Going Out in Style

The owners of this long-standing Latham NY funeral home turned to Teakwood Builders to update and enhance their business’s facade. The goal was to create a more welcoming, attractive, and safer entry to what was once a grand home, with a focus on providing visitors with shelter from the elements. Highly durable, low-maintenance building materials–such as cellular PVC trim, moulding, and columns, and locally sourced granite and brick masonry elements–ensure that this high-traffic business stands up to daily wear-and-tear, without sacrificing aesthetic appeal. Since the remodel, the business owners report an increase in business, in public visibility, and in appreciation by the community. This exterior remodel garnered Teakwood Builders a 2011 Silver Award in the Light Commercial category of the Qualified Remodeler Master Design Awards.
