Poolside Paradise

Inspired by a Grecian structure overlooking blue water, this homeowner wanted to create a Mediterranean idyll in his own backyard. Set some distance from the main house, the pool house is decidedly Greek Revival with gable end returns, pediment, and columns. Yet classic becomes contemporary as we look inside to the screened porch with TV, kitchen with outdoor cooktop crowned by a stucco hood, and bath with changing area, all handsomely constructed with custom millwork, dry-stacked bluestone, and stucco highlights.
