“We had a superb design/build experience with Teakwood and are really pleased with the results…The level of trust developed makes you our only choice for renovation.” – Homeowner

The owners of an early 1900s Craftsman bungalow in an historic Saratoga Springs neighborhood called on Teakwood Builders to design and construct a kitchen respectful of the home’s heritage. Before the renovation, the kitchen was dark, cramped and dated. The original hardwood floors had been covered up by thick tiles and much of the room’s grace had been lost over decades of past remodeling attempts. Teakwood combined natural quarter-sawn oak cabinetry, soapstone countertops and handcrafted ceramic and glass tile with vintage-style burnished antique hardware and reproduction pendant lighting. The result is a timeless kitchen, true to the home’s Arts & Crafts roots.
